ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING AND ELECTIONS 2008
The Annual MVGC Membership Meeting and Elections were held on 3-6-08. Terms were up for President, Clerk, Executive Officer and 4 Directors. The only contested office was Executive Officer, all others ran unopposed. Results:
President: Lenny Cafarelli, unopposed
Clerk: Dave Joy, unopposed
Executive Officer: Dave Wheeler or Dave Watson. Dave Watson prevailed.
Directors: Dom Baccari, Jack Kelley, Rich Sica and Bob Terrell. All unopposed.
It was a special evening for one long time MVGC member. In recognition of the hard work put in by some of the club's officers and members, the club has decided to have an annual award presented to a deserving member. The award has been named the "Henry Gray Memorial Award" in memory of the late Henry Gray the last founding member of MVGC to pass away.
This years award was presented to a long time member who has served as a club officer in several positions, worked diligently through the years for the club, was team Capt on numerous Championship Bullseye teams and is still at the club several days a week making sure everything is in working order. Congratulations to Jim Limardo for winning the inaugral "Henry Gray Memorial Award"
To make the evening even more special, club leadership decided to name the main range after Jim Limardo. Jim was clearly overwhelmed and profusely thanked the membership.
