The Henry Gray Memorial Award
Each year the club presents to a deserving member the Henry Gray Memorial Award. Henry was the last surviving Founding Member of the Mystic Valley Gun Club. Henry was a rather colorful character full of life to the very end, he taught the Juniors program and Pistol School for many years. We get new members all the time that have fond memories of Henry when he taught them as juniors and are now coming back to the club as adults. I can still hear Henry's most famous quote, which he seemed to utter at least once during every meeting "That's not how we did it on Biltmore St", referring to the way things were run at the clubs prior location. The award is presented annually to a member that exhibits outstanding commitment and dedication to the Mystic Valley Gun Club. The men below are a large part of the reason we all have a great place to shoot and share our common interests.
