JUNIOR RIFLE

MVGC runs a junior rifle program through the winter and into the spring. Jeff Hirtle and Rick Adreani do a great job of helping the kids learn the basics of riflery and marksmanship The club recently invested thousands of dollars in new Anshutz rifles, CMP Savage rifles, spotting scopes, shooting jackets and other new equipment specifically for the juniors. Some of our juniors have done so well that the club invited them to shoot on our club teams at the Eastern Mass Rifle League, a high power 3 part rifle match held each spring at Woburn Sportsman's 200 yd out door range. All kids 12 and over that are appropriately mature are welcome to join the program. The team meets every Mon evening at the club for practice.
